Twin Tails Brewing is Suzhou's only American-owned independent craft brewery, founded in 2018 by two American friends with a passion for great beer and great food. What started as a small brewery has grown into one of the city's best-loved destinations for craft beer, authentic American cooking and warm hospitality.

Today, the flagship taproom is located in Suzhou Bay, Wujiang. Around 45 minutes from SIP, it's a destination that's well worth the drive. Spacious and welcoming, it's become a favourite with the growing international community in the area, while attracting regular visitors from across Suzhou.

Twin Tails brews its own craft beer on site, with an ever-changing selection alongside a core range of favourites. The food is every bit as much of the attraction, with a menu of authentic American classics including burgers, wings, sandwiches, salads and their famous house-made pickles. The highlight for many, however, is the stone-baked pizza, widely regarded by many expats as the best in Suzhou. Unlike the SIP taproom, the Wujiang flagship has the stone oven needed to make it, making this the only place to enjoy the full Twin Tails menu. Their annual Thanksgiving buffet has also become one of the highlights of the Suzhou expat calendar.

Despite its success, Twin Tails has never lost its independent spirit. Founders Brad and Andrew are often around the restaurant, always happy to chat with customers or recommend a beer, creating the kind of friendly atmosphere that keeps people coming back.
